Season's picture quality

I've watched all episodes of the show. I think that 2 and 3 seasons are the worst in picture quality (low colours, more grainy...) what do you think?

Totally agree with you. Season 3 is a little better than 2 though.

As far as for the Italian edition the worst season is absolutely the 3rd!
1 and 2 are good, the others (4-8) have quality variable on an episode basis.

I would say season 1 and half of season 2. Hey, it was the early 80's and Tv production was pretty low. The photography and editing started getting good for MPI around the 5th Season, and the writing too!

I'm sure the film from the main prints weren't stored correctly either.

maybe they should remaster the original prints.

and they change the tittles font in season 3. Am I right?
