This afternoon I was in the thrift store looking for jeans to make into cut-offs, Well, not really, but that's the story I'll go with. Anyway, I'm looking at the racks of clothes in case something were to catch my eye. Something did.
Warning, the rest of the story makes heavy use of artistic license.
I approached cautiously as I didn't know if it was a mirage. As I got closer I could make out the distinctive lavender colored parrots. I reached out, again cautiously for fear it might dematerialize upon touching it. When I determined it was in fact solid, and not going anywhere I quickly snatched it from the rack. There, in my hand was an authentic Paradise Found Magnum, P.I. Jungle Bird shirt. Complete with Paradise Found label, and bamboo buttons. The size tag had been cut out, I could tell it was way too small for me, but I bought it anyway. Price: $3.50. By the way it fits Diana, she says it's most likely a medium.
Diana has agreed to pose for a photo on the beach in the shirt with her Detroit Tigers cap. (That's right Her Tigers cap). This time next week we'll be heading back north to the frozen tundra, and Florida will be in our rear-view mirror, forever a bad memory. I'll have to get to the beach before we leave.

We won't quite be home, but 120 miles from home is better than 1200. It is starting to warm up here in Florida. Today was in the high 50s, I hear by the weekend we may even see 70. While the last few weeks have been cold by Florida standards, it was what us northerners would consider balmy.
only looking, Let's hope so!

Nice find Mike. Hell, I'd try to squeeze into the shirt for $3.50. I know, that isn't a pretty picture. I hope things work out well for you in you northern venture.

Thanks. Most appreciated.
Trust me no one wants to see my fat body squeeze into a medium. Fortunately Diana can wear it. Although she gave me a little crap about buying it when it doesn't fit me. :D
