what's everyone's non cast centric case?

i was thinking that most of them are fluff and watchable and i really like the little higgins / TM moments at the beginning and endings, but i can't really think of any that stand out.

mine has to be the arrow that is not aimed. I like it because it featured a nice series of twists that neatly flowed one into the other.

Not sure what you're asking Moustache. Can you be clearer?

meaning, just a case that TM works over the course of an episode and doesn't deal with major character development or mainly about the main characters. You know, just a regular "girl walks in" and needs TM to find someone or something type case, like "The ugliest dog in Hawaii" for instance.

If China Doll qualifies, which I think it does even though he gets help from the Scooby Gang . . . that's one of my faves.

"Mr. White Death", "Find Me a Rainbow", "Laura"... and others.

I agree with James about 'Mr. White Death', and I also for some reason really enjoy the third season's '...By It's Cover'.

But my favourite "non-cast-centric" episode, as ConchRepublican has already mentioned, is 'China Doll', one of my all-time faves.

I also love the season one finale 'Beauty Knows No Pain", though I'm not sure if it qualifies as it does focus on T.M. a lot, especially in the triathalon.
Either way, it is one of my "underdog" episodes (see seperate thread).

China Doll is certainly up there for me. I also like Skin Deep, Lest We Forget, Beauty Knows No Pain, Dead Man's Channel, Computer Date, etc. Hmm, too hard to decide!

I think "Flashback" has a good story to it. Of course, it started decades before and wasn't solved until the present day, but it was well developed.

Definitely one of my Top 10 as well
