Did anybody else notice Jesse Stone wearing Thomas Magnum's watch?

I just returned from a week in Hawaii. I was wearing a Detroit Tigers cap and went into a dive shop. The fellow behind the counter said, Looks like we got a Magnum fan:-)

I always look at TS's watch when he's on anywhere just to see if he's wearing it.

Great story about the Tigers cap. Leads me to wonder just how big MPI still is in Hawaii.
I've been wearing the Al's cap more than others lately. The other day a guy in the Winn Dixie actually recognized it.

Now if I can only get the "Get Wet" cap.

I have yet to have anyone recognize my Al's hat or my King Kamehameha tank top. One person even thought the KKC tank was Elvis?

I think the story goes that each of the kids got their own watch when they were 21 if they had done as expected. I guess it would be a Selleck rite of passage into manhood.

The Rolex is not the watch given to TS by his father. I believe it was on the A&E Biography where he told the story of the watch, which he happened to be wearing at the time. It's a gold watch with a square case. Although he didn't mention the brand name, he said it wasn't worth much money but very vaulable to him personally.

Did anyone notice the blueish/gray hat Tom was wearing when the guy started to tail him after Tom was using the payphone? I couldn't really tell but I swear it looked like a small navy seals trident sewn in black. Can't wait till the dvd to catch another look at it. Also the IA woman had red hair and it seemed liked Deja vu with her with short red hair typing on a computer with Tom looking over her shoulder....Maggie Pool from Magnum. I think Tom really likes the red/blue bezel Rolex since Magnum, he's been seen sporting one in photo shoots, wore in sometimes on the tv series VEGAS and has worn in them in all the Jesse Stone movies.Had to edit my post...GMT MASTER mentioned the small trident in another topic/post. The way the watch thing goes is this: Selleck men received a watch from their father if they didn't drink until after they were 21. The watch that TS is wearing in the A&E Biography was NOT the watch that Tom's father gave to him. As TS stated in the interview, it was the watch his grandfather gave to his father. Just thought I'd clarify that!

jesse stone is a great show but, i whis they would have his smile at least once..
