What Ever Happened To......Game

Me and my friends used to do this when we were younger. After a show was off the air, we would wonder what they were up to, not only in real life, but also in the show. Of course I only did this in highschool in the 90's, but it was a fun game. Let's do it here.

For example:

What happened to Rick and Cleo? Did they get married or did Rick pass out? Then what happened next?

Pick a character, recurring, main, or a one time favorite and make a game out it.....

What ever happened to Tran Quoc, "Willie" and "Mary Elizabeth"? Those poor kids with no family and nowhere to go!

I would say that Higgins relocated them (with Rick's help) and helped them find homes. He does have a lot of charities that he's involved with so no doubt one of them helps kids who are in need. Now they all live in happy homes instead of on the street or with bad parents.

What ever happened to the first (1980) GMC Jimmy? My favorite MPI vehicle.

Man, I barely remember that vehicle..

N1095A, go ahead and make up something, humorous or serious, that's how this thread is supposed to be. Pick a character (or in your case, something else) and add a story..

Oh I'm dead serious. I want to know why it was replaced some time between 3:16 and 4:20 with a smaller much less macho Jimmy, and what happened to it after MPI.

Growing up we had a 1980 Chevy Blazer (identical vehicle) that was brown and tan. I remember the effort , 3 year campaign actually, on my part to get my dad have the orange part painted on. Although he was a MPI fan, he never went for it. When my dad passed away in '84, my uncles sold the vehicle, and I never saw it again.

OK, Italian Ice. I'm in.

What ever happened to Adelaide?

I think she inherited her uncle's ranch, sold it, and moved back to Iowa where she purchased a stable. She and Norman live there and she teaches both riders and horses to jump. She no longer feels like a spinster...in fact, she "pays it forward" by coaching and mentoring her students to help them develop healthy self images...like Magnum did for her!

I like the idea that some combination of "our guys" helped the kids to find happy homes!

Sorry about your Blazer, N1095A. Too bad you couldn't have ended up with it...would have been a nice connection to Dad, too.

Hi Agatha, welcome to the forums, I see that you're new.

Did you want to make a story and say that Agatha and Higgy baby actually decided to marry? Would have been great if they did. I'll let you field that one if you wish. I'm glad that he didn't marry that snooty Lady Ashley. If you want to add a story, go ahead. I also won't add anything about "spinning cats", I like animals!

Sorry, Italian Ice. Agatha may have thought she wanted Jonathan to marry her but I think they're both better off being friends. They spent a lot of time together...pursued a bunch of "causes" together...were there for each other many times...had each other to talk to. Why mess that up by getting married? I think that there were experiences that might not have happened (or been much more implausible) if they'd been married...the one that comes to mind is when the guys all jumped on a plane for Vietnam to help the McKinney character. And Agatha was right when she said that sometimes Jonathan "can be a royal ass!". No. I think that as time goes along, Jonathan realizes what a loyal friend Agatha is and Agatha seems to pressure him less about romance and that's fine with me.

I want to know if Elmo is still alive!

I would have LOVED to have seen the Higgins family reunion that Fr. Paddy alluded to.

Could have made a great episode, but would have been unwieldy from a production/editing standpoint.

Don Luis and Agatha certainly seemed to have a good time together!

Agreed whole-heartedly! That would have been a great one. Just for the record, I always believed Elmo survived, and drove the locals crazy while he recovered.

I wonder what happened to the team ring worn by Milton Collins. We never saw, but did TM collect it as he did with former members of his team? because it was a copy worn by someone who didn't serve with him, did he just leave it?

I would say that J Digger Doyle became the head of Star Guard. She proved her worth! David Clark was obviously taken away, leaving that position open for grabs.

It was her secret job while she was on Silver Spoons :)
