I've been on there for a while now. Love the haikus, BTW.
Thanks Styles!

It's a little something I do to force myself to pay attention to things on my way to work in the morning. I challenged myself to see if I could do one a day for a week and, well, it's been 5 years now I think. :-)

Unfortunately Flemingo Key has been pretty quiet this past year. We had some home renovations being done that limited out access to the yard for longer than we expected and then my mom had a stroke 2 1/2 weeks ago which really put the brakes on everything.

She's improving, thankfully, but it's going to be a long rehab process.
Hope your mom gets better Conch!

Sorry to hear this CR. Will keep her and you in our thoughts and prayers.

If she's improving within that 2 week period, then things are looking up, could be much worse.

Rehab works more often than not, good luck to all concerned.

Sorry to hear Conch. Glad things are improving.

I agree 308GUY . . . it wasn't a minor stroke, but her improvement day by day has made me feel better about her prognosis. Now is the rehab battle and keeping her focused on little improvements as opposed to settling for "this is good enough".
