Is anyone with the French Elephant Films Blu-ray set able to do a few frame caps of various episodes? I'd like to check the quality as compared to the US and UK sets.
Also, which version is the last episode? The two hour version, or the syndicated/edited two part version?
Does anyone have the French Elephant Films Blu-ray set?

Hello, yes, I have acquired the French version of MPI published by Elephant.
I haven't had the time to see many episodes yet, but here are my comments:
the 1040 HD quality is quite good (vividness of colors and quality of blacks and shadows), however, it seems to me that the original material was not remastered or at least, could not be, given the limitation of the cameras of the time.
In fact, in many scenes you can now see the grain of the film, which was not possible on most DVD versions.
I think that purchase is mainly a good option on a very large screen or video projector.
For the final episode, I haven't checked yet but I had the unpleasant surprise that the Pilot had been truncated (not by much), but however of some parts of scenes, like the arrival of TM and Alice at the 'Snow Palace' ("Rick Café Américain").
Edit: this version features severals bonuses among which the quite exclusive "Murder, she wrote" cross over épisode.
