Decent Stainless Magnum PI Team ring for Under $5

Somethings seem too good to be true, so when I saw a Cross of Lorraine ring on Aliexpress (The Chinese version of Amazon for a fraction of the price because you are ordering direct from the factory in many cases), I was skeptical. But for less than $6 ($4.53 US at the time I am writing this) with free shipping, I thought it was worth the risk. It arrived last week and I am thrilled at how great it is - I would been happy if I had paid $40 for this. Solid stainless and comfortable to wear. I do not work for Aliexpress to be clear, but I thought if anyone is looking for a "close enough" ring or something for a display, or perhaps a daily wearer, this is worth the money. I have no idea how long the black with remain on the ring so time will tell, PLUS the ring is Stainless steel so it is SILVER not gold but again, for the money, I think it is worth the look. Here is the link. Oh, and Aliexpress is very reliable. I have had things not arrive, or I was not happy with them, and they were excellent in refunding me the money. It works like a clearly house of all different factories, etc.

Sizing is pretty accurate as well.

To be clear, my experience with Aliexpress over several years has been very positive and they literally sell everything for much less than Amazon. The ONLY issue is that because it is coming from China, sometimes the shipping can take weeks so if you are in a hurry, this is not the place. But they tell you up front how long it will take and they have a good tracking system. Only one thing this year did not show up and i was given a full refund. They also make custom items like flags, wall cutouts and stickers. A fun place to look for pretty much anything (Back to the Future, Indiana Jones etc.

Update: Here is a gold version of the ring on sale for $4.66 (28% off). Personally I would be cautious of the gold only because I think it would wear off. I bought some "gold" coins (which looked great) but when I cleaned it with alcohol it rubbed off... the silver one is really nice even for 3 times the money!

Think I’d call it “gold-colour” ring. These would work fine for a Halloween costume, but they don’t have any of the detail of the originals. Not really something I’d wear day to day.

I'm wary of many things coming from China, especially jewelry. Daily I wear a stainless version of the ring my wife got for me years ago from Jerry at http://ourotherstore.com/, and also have matching cufflinks, a pin and a gold pendent I got for my "Michelle" . . . unfortunately he hasn't been responsive the last few times I tried to contact him. As a Vietnam vet I liked giving, and directing, business to him but I have my concerns about his health.
