Magoween Costumes?

#1 Post by Styles Bitchley »

Hey folks,

Anyone bust out their Magnum ensemble for Halloween this year? I think it's the first Halloween in a long time that I didn't appear as TSM. I attended a party where I had to go as a movie character...I almost did it but thought I'd better abide by the spirit of the event. In the end, the host asked disappointedly why I wasn't dressed as Magnum...he said the double episodes would count as TV movies.
"How fiendishly deceptive of you Magnum. I could have sworn I was hearing the emasculation of a large rodent."

I didn't bust it out for Halloween, but we recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of my wife's 25th birthday with an Murdered By the Mob Murder Mystery Party and Thomas Sullivan MAgnum IV and Miss Scarlet were on hand to help solve the crime!

I was going to dress up as T.C., but was told that was no good for some reason. So then I thought I'd go as Tanaka, but that was a problem too. Keoki and Moki were totally out. There was no way I was going to go as Carol.

So I went as Herman (...the shark). Other sharks were offended by this "cultural appropriation", but they don't have lobby groups so they couldn't do anything about it.

Ahh. Life in the Great White North. Where being offended has replaced hockey as the national sport. Well played, my friend.
