That's what Ralph Lauren collector's call a Uni Crest or Unicrest emblem on his Rugby shirt and is seen starting in the in the early '80's. I have the same shirt in dark red. Welcome aboard. Nice find by the way ! I am sure it would be a good Magnumesque look for you. Personally I have abandoned the rugby shirt idea for the aloha shirt. The rugby shirt would now unfortunately for me accentuate the negative if you follow my meaning. Whereas the aloha shirt fit is a little more forgiving albeit if I dont tuck it in !
