Tom Clancy's Magnum script

IIRC, Tom Clancy was supposed to write a script after the show ended for a planned movie, which obviously never happened. Did the script get written and has anyone read it?

I've not seen anything. Has it ever been confirmed officially that a script exists?

I've read interviews with Selleck where he mentions Clancy was 'on board' but don't remember any specific reference to a script. Perhaps a story/treatment was written and this outline was what was taken to Universal.
