Just out of curiosity, what did you use to paint it?

This one from jerryourotherstore, is the one I bought last year for $54.00, in my photo it's the one on the right. There is a black back round behind the cross but the exposure burned it out.

I have been wearing the $19.95 ring 24/7 (except for yard or auto work) and it has it's first nick, otherwise the shine is still good. The silver one you have to keep shining, otherwise it gets dull, like in the photo.

Yeah, I know that one.
But, as I said, it would cost me $200/230 (depending on VAT, import tax, etc...).
Beside, I would prefer the steel one since steel is more resistant than silver.

OK, it's been about three weeks + of having the $19.95 steel ring on, and...it's now off, and the $54.00 silver ring is back on.

The cheep ring is heavy, and the size seems slightly larger than the size 10 my silver ring is. As such it "spins" on my finger, and is generally on the inside of my palm. Also since the cross is raised above the rim I am consistently hitting the darn thing on everything! So, the silver is back on, its lighter, but also smaller, which I don't like. As for the steel one, I will use it when I show my car (308/Mera) with the cap, shirt, drivers license and ROBBIN 1 license plate. Yep, got it bad, so bad that my friends are starting to call me "Waynum" (name is Wayne)

Sorry, Hadn't seen this thread in a while. I just used an automotive primer, then an automotive flat black. Sprayed the whole cross area of the ring, scraped the paint off the parts I didn't want black, and buffed the whole thing with a dremel buffing wheel.
