Interesting concept...

I don't know that I can answer with a specific episode due to the fact I haven't seen them all yet, and would really need to watch the series a second or third time to be informed,

However, if I had to guess now, I'd say the pilot episode. Something about it is wonderful, I think the fact that I know it was the beginning of 8 seasons of fun, and as much as I rag on MPI "average" episodes, Magnum at its worst was better than most at their best. As the light is fading away, I think you want an episode of birth or rebirth to balance.

Other than that, my answer would be, well I guess a question: what if when a Magnum PI mega-fan passes away, they just happen to dream up an unwritten episode...alas, even our friend TS must age but MPI is forever

I guess it would be easier for me to choose a scene rather than episode..........but if i was leaving soon and with my kids still young.........the scene in the church where he is reunited with Lily means so much more to me now being a father than it ever did when I first saw it............and I still got goosebumps then. So that was what, the last ever episode? Though disappointing in many ways, production wise, wrapping it up on a good note would seem a good sendoff especially seeing Thomas in whites with daughter on beach.

Limbo with the more appropriate goodbyes by Thomas was very good as well.
