When Life Imitates Art

#1 Post by Macho Taco »

Just a few days ago I inherited a decent amount of money from an uncle I hardly knew at all. This uncle jilted his own family in lieu of giving me much of what he had. Stunned beyond belief, I was lucid enough to get home and put in Season 3's "Of Sound Mind," in which T.M. is willed $50 million.

Thus my question: Have any of you ever watched a Magnum episode because the plot directly related to something that happened to you? Would love to hear your stories.

I once lived on an estate rent free and drove a Fiero... but there was a ferrari in the Garage that I sat in once...

PS; Did you inherit enough to buy the Anderson estate in Hawaii? or at least a Ferrari ;{)

Not enough for the estate. Maybe the guest house, though. I read in Larry Manetti's MPI book that he bought one of the used Ferrari's from the show and it turned out to be a used lemon.

I see a parallel between Selleck's, Magnum's, and my life. We all have daughters with positive names.
Tom Selleck: Hannah
Thomas Magnum: Lily
Me: Jasmine Marie
I just don't give a damn!
