Found the perfect guy to play Higgins (and everyone else)

Billy Connoly would be perfect as JQH

Christian Slater as Rick
Wesley Snipes as T.C.

Caught a glimpse of Connoly in some Garfield (the cat) movie while waiting for my wife to get ready to go out and thought he would be perfect.

Bring back the original cast.

I don't want a big screen movie.

I want a made for TV movie with the original cast.

Tom Selleck, Roger Mosley an Larry Manetti are the only ones who can play their characters well. It's Hillerman's choice if he wants to come out of mothballs to play Higgy-baby one more time!
I just don't give a damn!

How about going totally left field for the Higgins character if Hillerman isn't up for it.

Perhaps, oh, I don't know, Sean Connery? He could play an old Sandhurst friend finishing up something for Higgins while he's incapacitated or (gulp) has passed on.

This way we're still getting the British feel and style while not having to recast Higgins.

Sean Connery is a BRILLIANT choice to play Higgins friend from Sandhurst!!!

The comedy could be great if Connery gets more attention from women than Magnum. Remember the episode where Higgings gets the woman and Magnum gets beat up by a dwarf and a sumo wrestler?

THIS IS WHY CBS SHOULD GIVE US A MAGNUM MOVIE EVERY YEAR!!! There could be a storyline that could extend over 3 or 4 movies.

SEAN CONNERY ALL THE WAY!!! There could be a background story about Hillerman being Robin Masters and Connery really is Higgins. It would fight in with Magnum's theory.

They should run Magnum movies with the same frequency and production styles as Jesse Stone.
