Practically New 1979 308 For Sale on eBay

#1 Post by Styles Bitchley »

OK, so it isn't red like Robin 1, but I thought you'd all get a kick out of seeing this fully restored 308 Ferrari for sale on eBay. Price is already up to $68k and the reserve hasn't been met.

The guy says it's “The most highly restored Ferrari 308 ever offered for sale”.

Ok not red but the yellow is the second color for Ferrari cause is the color of the city of Modena (Maranello is a relly little city near the biggest Modena)

That's an amazing restoration!

I'd be too scared to ever drive it. Seems like even the "windscreen" is irreplaceable. What would you do if a rock bounced up and chipped it.

It's so perfect you don't even want to breathe on it. After every time you drive it, you'd have to spend 4 hours cleaning it.

Very nice!

If I had that I would only drive it when I had to "tail" somebody. ;)

Not bad, not bad at all!
This is a GTB but yellow is very cool!
Only thing is this is not a car to drive.
Lock it into the garage and admire it.

You're right. This is a show car. It would be nice to have the money to have one to drive and for show. I guess I'll just have to settle for a Revels or Matell.

That seems too much, even for a full restoration. I wonder what an original308 used on the show would go for and I know there are some out there as I saw one at a car show a few years ago that had the documentation from Ferrari of North America. I'm sure the gentleman that owned it paid less than $68,000.00 for it and he even had the official Ferrari luggage that fit perfectly under the bonet.......
