No more Magnum PI on Deja View in Canada?

#1 Post by tangcameo »

Just woke up and where Magnum usually is there's an old western tv show. Is this permanent?

tangcameo,

I noticed it was gone as of last Monday. It hadn't been on the weekly slot for very long. Bummer. To make things worse, the weekend slot is gone too. It was on weekends for as long as I can remember. Your 5 am western is actually 'The Rifleman' which is a good show for this channel; the 5 pm replacement is Wonder Years which is not.

I hope it's not permanent, but looks like it. I guess people would rather watch 'Wonder Years' YUK! or sit through back to back episodes of "One Day at a time' which would be a perfect one hour timeslot for Magnum PI.

Actually I think the reason for the change, is that DejaVU has a contract with the CIA. At certain times of day the CIA shows back to back episodes of 'One Day at a Time' or 'Silver Spoons' to prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. Where physical torture fails, the prospect of back to back episodes of such garbage, always gets results.
Of course this changes nothing between us. I still expect you to respect the rules and regulations pertaining to your stay on the estate. There will be no wild parties, no outragous liberties, no unauthorized overnight guests...

Deja View should have invested and diverged and became DV Classic, and DV 70s and DV 80s, etc. Instead they're switching to craptacular sitcoms because they're cheap. As went Lone Star, so will go Deja View.

So this makes TWO stations in one month that I pay extra for and now no longer want. Used to watch BBC Kids for the Brit reruns but both the US and Canadian versions are gone. They offered me BBC Canada but that channel is all cooking, redecorating and antiquing with one or two primetime shows I've already seen on basic cable for years.

I might as well buy rabbit-ears!!!

Sorry for the b****fest
