Well, I've just finished re-watching and reviewing the whole of the third season, so it's a good time to resurrect this ancient thread.
There are a lot of strong contenders in the third season; I had a hard time choosing, and would probably be different again in a week or so!
1. Did You See The Sunrise? - One of the best feature-length / two-parters.
2. Black On White - One of the show's all-time classics, great story.
3. Faith and Begorrah - A star turn from John Hillerman as Father Paddy McGuiness.
4. Past Tense - I know some don't like this one, but I found it to be a really good adventure.
5. ...By It's Cover - Well, this is my "wildcard" entry - A few days ago, this certainly wouldn't have made my Top Five, but re-watching it to review, I found it to be a really enjoyable story.
Honorary mentions go to 'The Eighth Part of the Village' and 'Mr. White Death', which both I found to be really good stories.
Least favourite episode - definitely 'Mixed Doubles'!!

4- Flashback
5- Did you see the sunrise?
I didn't have any interest in "I do?" maybe one of the worst of the whole serie

Agatha: Why does he always do that, Jonathan?
Higgins: I don't know, Agatha. I think sometimes our creator is testing me. Indeed it could be for no other reason. If i thought otherwise i believe i truly would go irrevocably irretrievably mad!

OK...I'll play! I never understand how it happens that I just "pop in" for a few minutes to see what you guys are up to and "Poof"...an HOUR disappears!!

1. Did You See The Sunrise?
2. Black on White
3. The Arrow That is Not Aimed
4. Two Birds of a Feather
5. Faith and Begorrah
I CAN'T JUST PICK FIVE!!
Runners up...Mr White Death, Almost Home, Basket Case, Birdman of Budapest and Past Tense.
My all time LEAST favorite episode is ...By Its Cover.
Now I have to go find the topic about favorite seasons...because I have finally figured out that I seem to like the "odd" ones...Season 1, Season 3, Season 5 and Season 7...best.

It's odd, 'cos I never really took in '...By It's Cover' first time around, but when I rewatched it to review recently, I found it really enjoyable.Agatha wrote:My all time LEAST favorite episode is ...By Its Cover.
It's no worse than 'Mixed Doubles' surely, or even offerings like 'I Do?'
