Need help identifying an episode, please!

This may be a difficult request...

I'm looking for the episode where Higgins is walking through either a garden or forest and says something like "Oh, brassica regularus...indigenous to Indo-China"...he doesn't really say brassica regularus, but he uses the scientific/latin name for the plant and says it's from Indo-China.

I'm hoping to get a few seasons of Magnum PI for my father and I'd like to get the season that has this episode. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

The episode you're looking for is "Beauty Knows No Pain"... last episode of season 1.
