Sleuth TV-Magnum off schedule?

#1 Post by Seaver41 »

From what I can gather checking the next couple weeks of the schedule on Sleauth Tv....it appears Magnum comes out of the rotation. They have new shows coming on board like Monk and Jag and appear to be putting some to sleep for now. No announcements.......but I've been recording/watchingthe shows and got hooked ALL OVER AGAIN......and now it is disappearing once again.

I will say.....they don't run them in order and that drives me nuts. Believe it or not I haven't seen Resolutions since the original airdate. I'm curious to see how it comes across to me now.

I've never been one to purchase DVD collections of tv shows.........there is always something to surf...........but I am finding that my memory doesn't remember all the details and plots from every show.......so I've been having some fun watching.

The DVDs are a great investment, provided one

A) Has the finances to do so

and

B) Has the passion to go out and buy them/request them for presents.

I get to watch a lot of Magnum working out in the mornings, so I can incorporate it into my day.

Networks are too fickle when it comes to rerunning quality shows. Plus, it helps keep me up to speed on fact and details!

I have seasons 1-4 but have never gotten around to 5-8 because it is on Sleuth all of the time. It looks like I'll be investing in those seasons ASAP!

I was able to accumulate most of my collections through bithday and Christmas gifts. It's a great option for people if they need a little help with ideas. I mean, what else would you want?

I own seasons one through three. Someday, I'll purchase four and seven. For those interested there is a site called ioffer.com that is sort of like ebay, except members also trade. There are sellers on this site who sell the entire series burned from the studio released DVD sets for around $60 to $70. I mention this for the people who love the show, but cannot afford to spend $30 to $40 for just one season set.
