Johnalds PI - Spoof on Youtube..

I came across this one by accident, I'm sure some of you have seen this. It is really bad, and I mean, BAD, but give these guys credit. The music and sound are good, but the plot is unbelievable. If you can stand it, have a look at all 12 clips. In the end, they are thankful for MPI being created, but of course they apologize for "this bad movie". It includes intro and outtakes. I wish more people out there were doing this, minus the really really really bad plot and cheesiness, but what do you expect from a 5 cent budget? I do say again though, I liked the music and track throughout the show, but thats about it. Otherwise, it's flubalicious. (look out the for ketchup bottle, lol)

Characters:

Johnalds, PI = Magnum
Wiggins = Higgins
BI Mosley - TC
Hick = Rick
Trish = ? some lab assistant
Dr. Don Luis Frumps = the villain

Plot: Dr. Don Luis Frumps is the arch enemy of Johnalds. He's a mad scientist that has been injecting a fluid into trees and making them come to life to do his bidding. He captures Wiggins and attempts to test the formula on humans. (all I could do is shake my head, but I give these guys credit). I'm surprised there aren't more spoofs on youtube on MPI, although there is another one, a two partner, but incomplete...

I'm with you. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I failed miserably. I know those guys are trying to do some kind of "tribute" (at least, I hope they are), but that's embarrassing.

Of course, this comes from the person who created MGI. Maybe I just better shut up . . . . .

I am only guessing here, but I think what they were going for was the "it's so bad, it's good" genre. But I think it misses the mark. As for Magnum GI, he is just out-and-out funny, and is much classier, because golf is not trying to spoof, per se, she is just documenting his travels. JMHO, again!

Ya, it would be fun to make something like this. If I met you guys in person, then that would be fun to make.

Magnum GI was very well done! Looks like that took a lot of work!
