Goin w/ Geiger on this one.....

(Although I see a lot of these people on the list aren't necessarily "jerks", just plain evil - so my Geiger vote goes for the most evil).

(Sorry to seem like critiquing the thread lutherhgillis - especially since you MADE the thread after something I suggested in a previous post!, just trying to build a case for my vote)

However jerkwise, I am also partial to Willy Troubshaw and Clyde Daltrey. Buck Greene is up there too for me.

I have a feeling that "The Hotel Dick" wasn't named just because of Magnums profession in that episode.

I voted for Buck Greene because he was in several episodes. He was a jerk. :x

I went with Buck Greene for biggest jerk. I agree with Doc, most on the list were evil, Ivan being el primo villian for me. Buck just carried himself in such an obnoxious way, jerk fits. He wasn't evil, just an a$$.

Michele, however, is another interesting addition.

Decided I had to vote for the person I hated the most, which would be Geiger. Ivan is a very close second.

If we are looking for a jerk, and nothing more, it would have to be Buck Greene.

She manipulated and used TM at every oppertunity, and when she was finally free of Hue, she chose someoone other than TM. I'd say no one over the course of the series causet TM more pain and grief. She wanted him hanging on a string for her, and she got that. Maybe she should have been on the biggest b*tch poll.

Guys, this is not difficult. Just select the name on the list that was the biggest jerk.

I agree with you about Michelle. I never liked her either. I think she was a user. Just my opinion.

There was a limit to the number of names I could use. The rest have to be write-ins. I think Michelle has 3 votes thus far...

Thanks for playing along... :D

This must sound strange, but there are many episodes of Magnum which I have not seen yet  ..yes I know! However from all the episodes I have seen, I would have to cast my vote for Buck Greene, as I thought he was an obnoxious and unfeeling jerk.

I'd say Clyde Daltery from Hotel Dick. The thing about Buck Greene is he was a button down Marine. I wouldn't expect any compassion from him.

I have a new all-time jerk to nominate: Victor DiGeorgio the old-school mobster from season 1's "Ugliest Dog in Hawaii". It took about 10 seconds of listening to this guy to turn my stomach.

How about Rod Chrysler from Book By Its Cover? He used Magnum totally. What a jerk. He endangered many lives and lied like a rug. He also sold dope and held some back for his personal gain. He grew dope while in Bakersfield.

LHG, I go for Rod Crysler (however it's spelled) too, along with Cork Hubbert (Waldo Norris) in "Smaller than Life."

I'm basing this on a jerk's being a loser/user/annoying/you-want-to-slap-'em-up-side-da-haid along with the MPI characters who keep buying their song and dance.

And the hotel manager in "Hotel Dick" is right up there in the running.

Ivan, etc., are evil villains. Jerks are just . . . slappable.

Are jerks only male? If a female acts like a jerk, is she just a b*tch?
