Re: Magnum P.I. Filming Locations - A Rubber Chicken Guide
Sorry for the delay... The brothel location for the placemark "1.10 - Wiki-Wiki Club knife fight" (that I placed here ) I'm confident is very close to the exact location. I see that this is one of the placemarks that I wasn't completely finished with, and since I couldn't find a high quality aerial ...

Re: Magnum P.I. Filming Locations - A Rubber Chicken Guide
Hi folks, a number of people have brought up the fact that the photos in the guide stopped working some time ago. This happened because the server the photos were hosted on went away. The good news is that the folks at Magnum Mania are now hosting the photos on the Magnum Mania server. This means th...

I'm checking in after a few months of absence so I'm just now reading this thread. Thank you Steve for taking on the responsibility of looking after Magnum Mania. The site is in good hands.

You've created a great site James, and set a great tone in the forum as well. This is a special corner of the web because of all the effort you've put into it. Now that you've reached retirement, it's a perfect time to make a pilgrimage to Oahu. :) Doc Ibold is a great choice to continue what you've...

Re: Love Detective shows - Hate Cop shows
Adam-12 is a cop show you might like, if you're going to like any cop show. In a way it's an advertisement for the LAPD, but essentially it shows two likable everyday patrol officers trying to do their job as well as any police officers can. The entire series is available on Netflix streaming and D...

Pacific Heartbeat - Waimanalo slack key on PBS
My DVR records a show on PBS called Pacific Heartbeat which is " an anthology series that provides viewers a glimpse of the real Pacific—its people, cultures, languages, music, and contemporary issues ." The episode recorded in the past week was called " Let’s Play Music!
Slack Key with Cyril Pahin...

Great information. So glad to know more about her. She sure did live in many parts of the world during her lifetime.
The London address in the year 1930 is only a half mile from where James May from Top Gear lives. Maybe he could visit the Hammersmith Town Hall?

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
I'm sorry to see this. It's sad that Eve Anderson is leaving. I also fear that anyone who buys the property will have significant changes in mind that will forever change the estate. A few nice houses that appeared in Magnum P.I. were demolished in order to divide the land into two or three new prop...

Re: Visit Magnum film locations
Unfortunately I haven't added to the guide for a few years now. There isn't a list for the Rubber Chicken Guide, but James's On Location page could be printed out.
Also, in google earth you could zoom in and print particular areas of interest.
