I think I found a mistake. I noticed that here on MAGNUM MANIA Winrich Kolbe is listed as the director of this episode. But on IMDB Ray Austin is listed as the director. Also as I watched the episode on Hulu it also showed Ray Austin as the director.

The one thing that really interested me though is wondering about Robin's other estates. Are there other estate caretakers and guests at them (ala Higgins and Magnum?) I'd like to think so. I'd assume Robin arranges for interesting characters to live on his estates so he can get story ideas. ...

Not totally sure why he attacked them...I think it's probably more because he was working for that professor and wanted her theory proved right...when he knew there was a good possibility it was wrong. I think if he was such a deeply dedicated Hawaiian then the Ina Balin professor character should ...

Of course the first thing you ask yourself is what the heck are Nazis doing in Hawaii? Heck, even Magnum couldn't help but ask Lena that question. But it seems like every show at the time had to have a Nazi story (HAWAII FIVE-0 had at least 2 of them) so it was MPI's turn. That said, I love th...

Yep, I figured I was the only one who thought so.

Wow! What can I say? This is a Perfect episode as far as MPI goes. I've only seen episodes (not all of them) from the first 3 seasons and so far this one is the second best. Best of course is "Did You See the Sunrise?". And then the third best is the pilot - "Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii". And you'l...

I guess I'll have to go against the grain here and say that I found this episode to be fairly average. Ok, it wasn't as dull as "Dead Man's Channel" but wasn't anything special either. To start with the positives - I thought Judith Chapman did a very good job acting-wise (and is quite the looker!) a...

Rebecca Holden is beautiful, and she was especially so in this episode! The plot was awesome...but she totally "made" this one! However...when it comes to "Knight Rider", I'll be honest and say that I liked Patricia McPherson (Bonnie Barstow) better. They had the April Curtis' hair and makeu...

Big fan of this episode! I'm almost done with the first season - have 3 more to go through ("Lest We Forget", "J. Digger Doyle", and "Beauty Knows No Pain") but this one is in my TOP 3 of the season, next to the pilot episode and the previous "No Need to Know". It's probably the darkest episode of t...

A pretty good episode. Not among the best of the season - more middle-of-the-road but still pretty good. I'm sure Rebecca Holden had a lot to do with it. She no doubt has to be the most drop-dead gorgeous girl in the entire show's run... and I've only started watching. Of course it may be due...

There may have been some "loose" plot ideas for this one...but I still like it way better than "Billy Joe Bob"!! As for me, the name of that one says it all. But, I'm not one much for hick/cowboy/hillbilly type stuff...so that episode is obviously not going to be one I enjoy. I love Hawaiian...

Hey guys! New poster here! Been a life-long HAWAII FIVE-0 fan so my love for the islands stems from that show. I've visited the islands twice and couldn't get over the excitement I felt during my stay there! Even peeked over the front gate of the "Masters Estate". :) Anyway I decided to start watchi...
