Yes Mac, I had a pair of Wallabees in junior high school...they were a brief fad around 1981-1982. Wallabees were exactly what they appeared to be in MPI...soft suede ankle boots with fabric speed-laces, and a strange "gum" sole formed into a weird wavy-grained tread....
