Re: For all the haters of the new show
FFS, if you don't like the show, stop watching. I, for one, enjoy the new show. That said, I was a HUGE fan of the original, watched it every Thurs. night when I could. Magnum, Simon&Simon and Hill Street Blues. It was my only real television night, except for Monday Night Football, of course. The ...

Re: For all the haters of the new show
It is not that I hate the new MPI. It is just when I put the old and the new side by side for comparison it is no contest for me. I doubt years of the new MPI will change my mind. The new show is clearly cut in the new mold of TV. Fast action, fast scenes and fast talk with (so far) very little cha...

The Guardian of Forever????????
At about the 18 minute mark, the sculpture behind Higgins sure looks a lot like the Guardian of Forever, from the Star Trek universe.
Anyone else notice this?

I've been watching this on Netflix. Excellent show.

Hill Street Blues
Undoubtedly the best cop show EVER, possibly the best drama ever, Hill Street Blues was the perfect ending to Thurs night TV, after Magnum and Simon & Simon. Yet, only the first 2 seasons were released on DVD, and none of these great shows are on Netflix. I wonder why. I watched HSB from the pilot e...

Re: Give it a chance
This is my first post here and I expect to be roundly attacked for this but this is just my opinion. I was a big fan of the original series and still watch it today. On Thurs nights, it was Magnum, Simon & Simon and Hill Street Blues, the best night of the work week for TV. I've watched the trailer...

Re:
I agree. Agatha did become an important part of the show. My favorite Agatha moment is in "Echoes Of The Mind" when Higgins reluctantly goes to Agatha's house to tell her that he is not going to marry her, but another. During the conversation, she reveals to Higgins' surprise that her cousin also a...

The Lads
I Emailed the site some time back about not having a section on The Lads, when there's a section on almost everything else. I got a response back to the effect that he was busy but would look into doing it. So far, nothing.
