Re: Magnum PI APPEARS to be Leaving Encore...
I’m hoping they’re loading up with holiday programming for December and are taking some shows off that will be back. But I don’t like the fact they showed Resolutions today.

Re: TV turkeys: The worst shows of 2018
First, no comma. Second, he lost all credibility with this list by putting Krypton on it. That’s s great show.

Re: On Face Value (4.19)
This is one of my all-time favorite episodes. There are a lot of things you don’t regularly see and it really brought out the emotions in me. Anything I have to say has already been mentioned. This was a great episode in front of and behind the camera.

Re: Ratings . . .
I'm one of the people who stopped watching. If this ratings trend continues, I have to believe it will be cancelled. If so, will they let the season run it's course, or would they yank it?

Re: New MPI Reboot Gimmick Idea..
TS :magnum: said in an interview once,(I am paraphrasing here) to do Magnum again, it would take all the stars to align. The timing, the script, everything has to be right. This is precisely what Scott Bakula said about doing a continuation of Quantum Leap. The actors want it, the fans want it, and...

Re: If You Removed Everything about Magnum PI ........
I think it's impossible to tell, because the whole make up of the show seems to be molded around nostalgia of the original show.

Re: Season 1 Episode 3: The Woman Who Never Died (1.3)
Hi guys :D The background toward Chinaman's Hat is real. The filming location for those shoreline scenes is in my post here: http://magnum-mania.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3608 The view of the "estate" is all CGI... the palm trees... everything is fake. I'm not sure where they got the house(s) ...

Re: Season 1 Episode 3: The Woman Who Never Died (1.3)
Watching these three episodes makes me appreciate how awesome the original is. I've been recording those episodes on Starz since last fall and am glad I have those to go to. When I first heard about the reboot, I was furious because I--like most of us I assume--wanted a continuation like they have d...

Re: Pilot to Ep2 Ratings and Beyond
About TV Land, they're awful. I tried to watch something this past weekend--I can't even remember what it was--but it was like T.Q. said...stretch out the episodes for more commercials, butchering the episode, and cutting a scene in half for a commercial break. It was unwatchable. That's too bad, to...

Re: Season 1 Episode 3: The Woman Who Never Died (1.3)
I must be losing my mind, but the scene where Higgins kicks the soccer ball and then says she needs a ride...wasn't that from last week's episode? I admit I was dozing while I was watching it, but I swear I saw that whole scene before. You must have seen a Sneak Peek from the episode. It wasn't fro...

Re: Resolutions (2) (8.13)
Greetings! I’m sure this has been discussed but I cannot find it. In the final scene with the TV remote, does the tag on the uniform say MAGNUM or SELLECK?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Season 1 Episode 1: I Saw the Sun Rise - Pilot (1.1)
I'm surprised you guys aren't whining about him using a cell phone, because Magnum didn't use one in the 80's show! It's a new show, they are not trying to be the 80's Magnum! I get it, either you like it or not! But the comments about what they do now, that they didn't do in the 80's makes no sens...

Re: Diversity
I'm equally disappointed Roger Mosley felt that way. I don't place blame on him, as he can't help how he feels, but disappointed he felt that way enough to express it in an interview. It won't make me look at T.C. any differently, though. I can separate the actors from the characters, otherwise ther...

Re: Anybody ever watch Burn Notice?
I watched a little bit of Burn Notice. It wasn't bad, but one thing that is the same between the two shows: frustration. I was frustrated that Donovan was in the situation he was, and also frustrated Monday because the characters seemed forced.
