Re: 2nd Best Mustache on TV

Lee Horsley of MATT HOUSTON fame immediately comes to mind after Selleck when it comes to iconic staches on TV. That stache on Mike Farrell from M*A*S*H is anything but iconic. Or iconic for all the wrong reasons. Although overall (not just TV) when it comes to staches the 2 names that always...

Re: Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii (1) (1.1)

“Higgins you yo-yo”. Don’t know if this was ever discussed. It looks like that line was dubbed over something else. I couldn’t search “yo-yo” as “yo” was too common a term being picked up too often in other words. Thoughts? It has been discussed, but where is the big question! TM’s lips do NOT matc...

Re: Wazzup

Hey T.Q. I'm wondering if lifting weights (even light ones) is a good idea in your condition? I would think any kind of weight lifting would be bad for your back (especially post-op). What say you? P.S. Thanks for your concern. No problem. Just looking out for ya. :) Lest you become totally bed-rid...

Re: Wazzup

Wow! Sorry to hear. Sounds awful and it brings back unpleasant memories for sure. I had been in very good health too until that happened at age 46. I was working on my old VW campervan when I severely strained a lower back muscle. I did the rest, heat/cold, anti-inflammatories thing and it was mana...

Re: Wazzup

I didn’t just have a herniated disc L4/L5, it ruptured about six years ago. The fluid from the disc leaked out and was pressing on the root nerve into my right leg. I think similar. Day 1 in hospital he did suggest injection and a wait and see (two weeks). By day 2 the pain level was 12 out of 10 a...

Re: Wazzup

T.Q., metalmoose, 80's Big Hair, Ivan, Pahonu, I have been sitting here feeling sorry for myself since June 10 when I slipped and smashed my knee, unable to leave the house as I have no command of my leg post surgery, and can't go down/up stairs, stuck sitting except for eating/bathroom. But after ...

Re: Wazzup

Back problems are the worst. Sorry to hear. My L5/S1 degenerated over the years. Disk was gone. Maybe the strain on the higher levels (and herniation) came from the stress on them. I hurt it 5 years ago when I fixed my childhood mini-bike and rode it down to the beach. I twisted and lifted to get it...

Re: Wazzup

Thanks for the well wishes.

Yes, I realized I am old at 50.

When I turned 40, I lost 70lbs (265-195) and at 45 I was best shape of my life. Felt like Superman.

Then poof... A back injury at 48... And downhill pretty fast from there...

Imma fightin' it though.
