Re: Magnum transports me... does this make any sense?
Second because it reminds me of my dad he loved MPI and I clearly remember watching the series finale with him the day after it aired on VHS, and then in my early twenties staying up late with him watching Magnum when it aired on the Hallmark Channel when he was sick a few years before he passed aw...

Re: In what order do you watch the show?
In the UK MPI is often shown on ITV4, with 2 episodes a day (albeit the morning show a repeat of the previous afternoon) This is how I like to get my fix and have absolutely no problem watching the same episode twice! ps MPI seems to be on a sabatical at the the moment so I am checking the tv schedu...

Re: Forever in Time (8.5)
Just re-watched this one and I was struck again by the Vertigo elements - but I also thought I saw an accidental stray punch? When Magnum is thumping Branscombe during the fire toward the end of the episode, it looks as though he accidentally glances a blow to Victoria's hip during the follow-throu...

I did feel sad that they didnt get together and it served as a little personal reminder of all those missed opportunities over the years.
That said if I never heard that Cynthia saxaphone again it would be too soon!!!

Why does Icepick seem so indeifferent to Thomas is this episode? Just a few episodes earlier he was giving it the big pal act in the hospital after Thomas was shot I always thought that the "big pal act" was what was out of character. They normally played Magnum being a little leery of Icepick. It'...

Any issues people have with this epidode are probably well founded. But for me all of this is redeemed by the scene with TC and his lad reconciling by the helicopter. love it

James, maybe you have it already and I have missed it, but it would be great to have an area with all the differant hats worn on the show,
just a though.

Probably going to request that 'Looking for Space' by John Denver is played at my funeral
Mourners will be scratching their heads though as nobody will have a clue to its reference!

Re: Death and Taxes (7.6)
One of my favourite and memorable episodes. Like so many have mentioned on this thread, the dumpster scene to Genesis 'mama' is truly epic. It is a particularly gritty and dark episode but as usual there is a moment of hilarity..the scene when Thomas appears driving the pizza delivery van. comical !...

Re: Going Home (6.7)
Love this episode. It's one of those bubbles away sedately until right at the end when a couple of moments occur which seem really poignant and moving. The boy saying goodbye to his Grandpa gets me every time for some reason, as does the final scene at the memorial played out with Joe Cocker ' I sha...

Hello fellow forum members. So pleased I came across this site whilst searching for a 'get wet' cap as worn by Magnum. Magnum is by far my favourite tv series and I still watch daily in the UK on ITV4. I don't know about you guys but I fond something poignant in most episodes, and are often moving a...
