Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
matty007" , yes, its sad when i google earth the location and see a large scare. I really think the owner just wanted to see it torn down to piss us all off. And to not even be working on it to make a new home.

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Went to Google maps today and looked at Pahonu could not believe my eyes .
It was torn down by the elitist owner.
Can not believe it. Just whipped out a great part of film history.

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Owners or Owner ?
Wonder if the same person bought both?
That would be "good news" since it would be a person interested in the history of the properties.

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
That being said, what the property needs is a wealthy historian.
Are there any wealthy historians out there?

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
Is there any way we can get HI to add this as historical estate and thus, can not cut it up? Signing petition seems to be the way things get done these days. This is the only way to save it. It would add value to the estate, but also bring a set of rules where new owner could not chop it up. A wealt...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
well, to help with the problem of people "looking in" on the property, you could always hire someone to take care of security around the grounds. It could be a nice part-time job for someone who has another main source of income. you could even let them live... I don't know... maybe in the guest ho...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
If the price gets too low, developers will buy it and chop it up. The property has to be bought by a collector. Someone that likes history and preservation. Restoration would be the first job, from the pics of the grounds, it needs a good landscaper and gardner. Then rent out the property for films ...
