I bought the Mill Creek Blu-Ray complete series from Amazon for $71.00. It was well worth the price. The episodes were much clearer and definitly brighter then the first DVD set that I got many years ago.
I recomend the blu-ray series for anyone really into Magnum P.I.

The GMC version of the SUV was called the Jimmy. The Chevy Version was called the Blazer. You are right that they were essentially the same vehicle but the GMC was considered more upscale and had different trim but the same running gear. You will note the GMC on the grille right above the bush guard...

Sorry, just can't get into the new reboot without the original characters played by the original actors. Call me an old Fuddy Duddy, but their will never be a Thomas Magnum without Tom Selleck. The same for Rick and T.C.. Sadly we lost Higgins? Just my thoughts!!!!!!
