Re: How old is the average Magnum Maniac?
I'm 27 from the UK and started watching it casually on Channel 5 during my time off during sixth form (16 to 18 at school). I've recently bought seasons 1 to 3 on DVD. Have just started on the second season tonight.

Re: RIP Marcia Wallace who played Barbara "Babs" Terranova
Just watched this episode for the first time last night. Didn't realise she voiced Edna in The Simpsons. Can see the resemblance now!

Re: Novel Recommendations
Thanks for all the great suggestions
I'm just finishing an Andy Mcnab novel called Firewall (ex-sas not sure if he's well known in the states) so will look out for some of these next.

Re: Magnum's or Selleck's Scars on shoulder
I seem to recall an episode early in the first season (possibly the pilot) where he swims ashore and proceeds to massage his shoulder. A flashback to Vietnam ensues and my interpretation was that although the flashback didn't show him being injured, it implied that he inflicted the scar from one of ...

Love the integrity and humour of Magnum. Great supporting cast as well. Looking forward to the many episodes ahead o...
