2024: Will Tom Selleck play Magnum PI again?

Hi there,

I'm a big Magnum PI fan since 83 and hate the reboot (ignored it 100%)...
Now that Tom Selleck is "free" again (Blue bloods ends) and the reboot is finally over ( ) do you think he will play Thomas Magnum again to honor his life work?

I would love to see a few tasty TV-movies (like Jesse Stone) with a lot of sad/funny/happy memories,feelings,humor,tears etc...nothing fancy,but tasty with feel...
Sadly we lost Higgie and TC so they would appear regularly in Tom's memory from time to time ..

What do you think?

Not to mention John Hillerman retired from show business after 1997.

I highly doubt Selleck would want to return as Magnum again. Magnum's story is done. Finis. It has reached a natural conclusion. And of course action sequences are an important part of the series and I obviously don't think Selleck and Larry would be keen on doing physical stunts at 80. I'm sure they would be fine with a fan film, a comic adaptation or animated media adaptation though.
