The producers sneak in yet another reference to a PI from old Hollywood, "The Lone Wolf."

they were greasy little men snooping around hotel corridors. My, you're a mess, aren't you?"

Decided today to have a relook at Innocence... A Broad. Haven't seen it in decades. I found there was some kind of irony
when right at the end of the episode, Joe (the Garbageman) says to Higgins while walking around the estate, "If he ever wants
to sell, this would make a hell of a landfill". That immediately conjured up the Pahonu demolition photos of late.
Love how Rita seems to always make Thomas look bad: the oranges, the matchbook, the lead from Martha...
I quite enjoyed Rick's angst at Magnum's bug head mask.

Is Joe Hatten based on Wayne Huizenga? I feel like "millionaire trash-company entrepreneur" is very specific, but I don't know if there were others around at the time...

Re: Innocence... A Broad (8.3)
There are 2 locations I'm still trying to track down in this episode. In the episode they are shown as "Arturo's Hair Salon" which, to me, looks like it's somewhere close to the Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki. Any thoughts? And the second is shown as "Captain's Table Lounge" where Magnum meets Rita (21:35). I thought it was the Chart House at first but not the way they exited the bar. Magnum is seen standing in front of an old photo of a Matson Ship. Thoughts?

Joe E Tata(Benny Travis) would go on to play Nat Bussichio in 238 episodes of the 90's teen hit drama Beverly Hills 90210.
