Have you ever heard the recording of Orson Welles' War of the Worlds original broadcast? The radio annoucement we hear in the '41 section of Lest We Forget is quite similar to the one in the recording. Robin Masters/Welles was there! :)

Steve, thanks for the memories of architecture school, it is amazing what nonsense we all came up with. and the stuff we did in the middle of the night in studio when we had been up for like 40 hours with no sleep.
Did you finish architecture school? I did :P I am a Ball State grad, one of the top 20 schools, YEAH!

Now THIS is amazing!!! They can go to this much trouble, to have the Coops cans in this scene and then miss so many OTHER continuity issues! Talk about inconsistency! So funny! The mind boggles!

I'm not sure if it's this episode or not, but you can tell that the can is not a "Coops" can, but a sticker that covers the entire can. I've seen these stickers for sale in gag stores in various malls. Obviously, I've never seen a "Coops" sticker, but many were soda/pop brands.
The answer is obvious, old man. Logic is irrelevant. It's simply Tropical Madness. (J.Q. Higgins)

Yeah, it's a wrap-around sticker. You can tell because the top part of the can is white and doesn't match up with the rest of it. Still, someone from the prop department took the time to create the "Coops" can label. Pretty cool!

This was a really great episode but I also liked it because I had a crush on Anne Lockhart  back in the day and also on Battlestar Galactica.

I watched this episode again this past weekend, mostly because of this...

But upon seeing it again, this too is a great MPI episode. I like the sense of respect it gives to veterans of all our wars, in a way that MPI was very good at. It was a good sleuth caper with sufficient twists. And it has Anne Lockhart too! I've always enjoyed watching her thru the years. Didn't she look gorgeous in that red dress for the elopement scene?

OOH OOH OOH!

OK,

We've made Magnum Hats, Rings, Shirts, Pendants...

What if we made Coops Beer Cozies?

(A disclaimer.... I can count the number of times I've used a beer cozie on one hand... but I think it would be a cool idea!)

Call me crazy, but I thought of taking a normal Coors beer bottle, soaking off the label, and printing out my (above) label, and, well, you get it.

I have found this one (I have a Margaritaville version) to be a life saver!

This is one of my favorites. It has a quite Magnumesque flavor and it was very touching.

One thing I couldn't figure out though. How did the Chauffer(who was a mere muscleman back in "the old days")figure out who Judge Caine was?

I'd love a Coops Beer coozie! How can we make this happen?
