Higgins job to repo a plane goes south when she and Magnum discover that it was being used by a drug cartel who opens fire at the plane, forcing them to crash land in the jungle, where they find a stowaway on board.

Magnum gets his watch back and Rick gets "Betty" back!
Higgins comes up with the best description of Magnum yet......an emotionally stunted man child.
The burning cottage scene reminds me a bit of an episode from the HFO reboot.
The plane crash was far fetched imo.
The plot thickens on the white Escalade following them from S3E1.......time will tell on the identity of Magnum's stalker.
Higgins first date with Ethan went well at Kamekona's shrimp truck........date two was given a green light and even Magnum seems to be okay with it....for the moment.

Hi Kenji ,
I really liked the plot of Magnum and Higgins doing a airplane repo as a way to bring in cash . Would have liked to see them get a little more creative then a plane crash . Not a bad episode over all and just for the record I am going to guess that the white SUV will tie back into the story line about someone trying to figure out who the White Knight is .

White Escalade Stalker = Dr Ethan
Re: Season 3 Episode 2: Easy Money (3.2)
Hi Gearhard,
I like you way of thinking........that could be a very interesting and great twist for a season 3 ender!!
Higgins gets really cozy with Ethan during the season and then things start to unravel with his true intent or Magnum discovers something and Higgins doesn't believe him at first etc.,etc..
I can picture Higgins giving Magnum heck for "talking her out" of the background check she had done on Ethan, but never ended up looking at after Magnum had that conversation with her about Ethan, relationships, trust etc., etc.. There will be something in the background check that only Higgins or Magnum's alarm bells would sound, not Kumu's as she did the check and seemed okay with it.
I hope they really do something good with the plot and don't rush it......assuming they go this route. Maybe Magnum ends up shooting and killing Ethan.......time will tell.

Here is the ending of this episode where Higgins call Magnum a man child and Gordie talks about the white Escalade............

The Magnum/Higgins tension is ratcheting up, but in a better way than in the first two seasons. Dr. Shah is either going to be this season's uber baddie or he's going to get sacrificed to the gods of network television for the benefit of our two costars. Should be fun either way.
I can't believe Higgins didn't tell Magnum sooner about the watch when he was clearly distraught, even if she did want to surprise him later.
