Post number 2...I've been a stalker for a while, like the content, so decided to join...even though it is a little slow compared to a couple years ago. I look at it this way, I can't knock the low participation if I don't contribute myself.

Huge Magnum PI fan living in the UK. Only recently discovered this wonderfully encyclopaedic website. Looking forward to re-watching the series on Blu-ray and offering the odd comment here and there. Loved the sheer variety of stories, the Magnum/Higgins rapport, the locations...and the dogs, naturally.

Hello, newbie here. I've been a fan since the 80's but didn't really watch the every episode until starting about I guess 91-92 when I found it on Universal 9 in New York City. I spent my collage days watching Magnum PI and Hawaii Five-O almost everyday!

Thanks for that information, emenius.

Conch, I'm puzzled -- is the new-member filter presumably still in place?

New Member here, my wife and I have been picking away at our full DVD set and I was looking up info here and decided to join!

Just to confirm:
are the 1st 3 posts ONLY with links/urls blocked automatically or CHECKED before posting.
Are posts without links acceptable?
Or is it the 1st 3 PM's?

Reason I ask is I'm reaching out on the Get Wet hat run with Higgins(BondToys) and just want to make sure my messages are actually working!

cheers

Thank you for this fun and informative site about this great show.

I am an old US Navy Vet, and I love all the references/inferences to the USN/MC.

This time the show was made was a different time and as they always say, they don't make them like they used to. While many episodes have some humor, quite a few are serious and you can feel it.. That's why this show won it's awards.

I missed most of these shows as I was in the NAVY then and when I got back I just didn't have the time to watch. But now I'm binging on Prime Video.

Glad to be here and interact.
E
