I watched a few episodes of Matt Houston recently. I rarely, if ever, watched it during its first run. Watching it now, the show works in a strictly comedic, “parody of the genre” kind of way. I rarely went in for ABC series of this era, so I dismissed Lee Horsely as a Selleck wannabe. However, Horsely has a good comedic sense and a good supporting cast. On Buck Rogers, Pamela Hensley was never a favorite of mine—I MUCH preferred Erin Grey—but Hensley is a welcome aesthetic presence here.

Matt Houston, along with Tenspeed and Brownshoe and Hardcastle and McCormick, are the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal network.

Don't forget T.J. HOOKER. Also ABC!

As for THE FALL GUY... well, I don't know how you feel about that one.
