I don't remember the name either but I remember Rick and TC were tracking down license plate numbers and they came up with the Steve Mcgarrett.... maybe that will help

Check out season 3 episode 3.16..Birdman of Budapest for scenes in the chopper with TC, Magnum and Higgins conversing while en route to Tessa's sanctuary.

Work in progress..... It's Sketchup screens, so no sky, no ground....etc

I have to ask Pahonu if he's agree to let me use his fabulous 3D model! And almost completely re-texture it!
I'm working on vegetation, as you can see...

Looking good so far.

Found another episode with sort of lengthy footage of TC and TM conversing in the chopper while they were doing "surveillance" on Clarence's wife, "legs" and her lover, "suntan". While airborne, they also "spied" on a couple whales doing a mating dance!
Season 3
Episode 23: Faith and Begorrah

Lovin the lads and the 308! :magnum:

Fine by me. :D Post some pics when you're done. Adding vegetation was so boring I gave up!

Thanks Pahonu! 8)

Adding vegetation is not that difficult... I've found some information on the web about typical Hawaiian plants and trees, searched each of them on 3D Warehouse, inside Sketchup, then imported them by one click! The deal is to mix 2D and low poly 3D models, to avoid framerate issues in FSX! (I've found 1 million polygons hibiscus!!!)

Looking great John! Can't wait to see the final product.
The more plants the better - it's job security for me!!!
Try and find some cereus mandevillus......Higgins loves them!
Have fun with the build.

Thanks Kenji! Appreciate your feedback!!! :)
I hope I'll be able to make the nest almost as vegetal as it is, but I have to deal with FSX framerate! I do my best to find photographic framerate-friendly 3D models!

Is there any botanist around here??? This plant seems to be everywhere in the nest... Anybody knows its name? Seems to be kind of climbing plant, but it looks like Mangrove.....

Yeah!!!! I've just found the target of my FSX MAGNUM mission:

1/ Land at the nest with the chopper
2/ Answer a gigantic quizz about the hundred plants of the property
3/ Take off
That's all!!!!!

Okay, take it easy, it was a joke! 8)

I've never seen that plant flower at Pahonu so that rules out quite a few possibilities....it could just be a type of ivy or maybe even a type of philodendron or epipremnum.....all guesses though. Keep up the great work John!
