Hey guys, I've just been informed that Jeff MacKay ("Mac") is in ill-health and needs a liver transplant. Jeff's friend (an L.A. talent agent) wanted me to post this in the forum so he can forward the well-wishes to him via email.
Jeff,
I've been a big fan of yours for a long time - from Lt. French to "Mac" to "Corky" to Big Bud. "Mac" was a great charcter for MPI and will always be fondly remembered. Hang in there big guy. We hope you get well soon.

Hopes and prayers that you get a quick match, the operation goes well and that you're back on your way to a full recovery!
And remember, time has little to do with infinity, and jelly donuts.
I still have NO idea what that line means, but it was one of your best!

I'm very very sorry to hear this. Beyond his acting parts, which always put a smile on my face, he seemed to be a really nice person. Down to earth and in touch with his fans. I will miss him.
