Re: RIP Patrick MacNee
I re-watch the Steed-Mrs. Peel Avengers every year, fan as I am of the series, but I will watch Holmes is Where the Heart Is this weekend as my own small tribute.
For Avengers (the non-Marvel variety) fans, I enthusiastically recommend Macnee's book The Avengers and Me, which even includes a blueprint of John Steed's various London flats.

Re: RIP Patrick MacNee
I've been watching MPI since it first aired and have to admit that Holmes Is Where the Heart Is was never one of the memorable episodes from my younger days. But over the years it has grown to be one of my favorites, thanks to Patrick Macnee. Truly one of the greats in my mind.
