I remember seeing it in the theatre...I think I liked it. But I was pretty young.

I remember it being on a saturday or sunday afternoon movie on tv when I was young. I seem to remember I kinda liked it. Or at least didn't hate it.

I should really netflix it to see if it holds up. I'm guessing no?

I saw it first run in the theaters and recall being bored stiff, which was unusual because since Raiders of the Lost Ark, I'd been crazy about 1930s-'40s adventure stories--still am--but High Road (or "Low Road to Entertainment" as Leonard Maltin's movie fuide calls it) was a disappointment.

It just occurred to me that I haven't seen it since its initial release! What was that, 1983? Time for a re-evaluation of Early Selleckian Cinema.

I saw it when it first came out. I was real excited to see Selleck on the big screen and went with my dad.

Wow . . . I was REAL disappointed. I haven't gone near or seen a frame of it since. I've been tempted at times to see if it was as bad as I remembered, but always decided there's no need to relive it.

I like remembering Tom as TM (and in Runaway, Three Men . . ., his westerns, etc.). ;-)

My two cents...

I LOVED this movie! Oh, Tom gets a bit hysterical about his planes but it's beautiful and romantic and funny...and I LOVED it!

I found the video on Amazon for an astronomical price and never regretted a single penny of it. Of course, now I have a TV that won't play videos so I'm extremely lonesome for them...especially this one!

It's not out in DVD, MACattack. although if you look up the video on Amazon, they ask if you'd be interested in purchasing it if it were. So I voted YES!!

Keeping my fingers crossed!

It was for hire on DVD at our local Blockbuster! Easy to find...

John Barry's score was a standout though. Very reminiscent of his beautiful work to come on Out of Africa.
