FOR SALE: 308 GTB (replica)

#1 Post by Karrnut »

"Health Changes" make it necessary to sell My Baby: A 1988 Mera/308 Ferrari Clone, you may have seen photos here on Magnum Mania, but just in case I think this will link you to more photos http://photobucket.com/Karrnut.

Be Magnum everyday you drive this car, lots of thumbs-up and "Hay Magnum!" It "belongs" with somebody from this site, that's why I am listing it here first.

One third the cost, all the fun, and none of the upkeep headaches. Limited production guarantees appreciation!

FOR SALE: 1988 Mera*
*The Pontiac Mera was a Factory Produced car based on NEW 1987 & 88 Fiero's (this car was never a "kit") and sold new for $25,000.00.
Only 254 were ever built, of which there are approximately 95 still on the road. These are fast, tight well built cars, dead ringers for the 308 Ferrari, without the Ferrari repair costs!

I am the third owner of this Texas car, (located in SE Wisconsin).
#2 car (#8002) GT platform:
V6, 5-Speed, 53,000 miles
Candy Apple Red with Tan Leather
All Ferrari Tagging
Ferrari:

•Side Mirrors
•Wheels
•Nardi Wood Steering Wheel
•Air Horns
Performance Upgrades:
•Custom made Headers
•Stainless Steel Exhaust (lots of growl)
•Aluminum Flywheel (+25hp)
•Competition Clutch
•Cold Air Intake
•Performance Chip.

• Magnum pi "cut out" (behind the wheel)
• Magnum cross ring
• Black Orchid Shirt
• Magnum's drivers license

I'm so sorry you have to sell this!!!! If I were in a position to consider a purchase of a "toy" car, this is something I would seriously consider. If it were just over 5 years ago, I WOULD be serious. If it were another 5 or so years in the future, it's likely I'd be able and tempted to.

Unfortunately, we're in the darkest part of a transition out an ecomomic pit that required me to get an advanced degree. Too much cash going out and not enough coming in...

Again, sorry for your situation. Sounds like an awesome and unique piece of automotive and MPI history.
Trust Me!!!

Oh. Hawaii state legal auto stuff. Hawaiian markings here would be petroglyphs. Auto stuff is haole stuff. not Hawaiian. We delineate here. just a FYI...

If it was two years ago I would have scooped that baby up alas, business just isn't what it used to be. I would still like to ride up one of these weekends while the weather is still nice and get some pictures sitting in it before you sell it................
