I have two ways of looking at this. First, there's Magnum's sense of class about certin things. Cigars, the Rolex, the team ring and some clothing items are quality clothing. He is surley not a beach bum. With that, I think that TM would wear Lagerfeld or Cool Water. Both are "beachy" scents and I c...

Tracey Spenser "We're going to get those girls that beat him up" I also like the ranting on The Legacy of Garwood Huddle when Magnum says he's going to track down the thieves of all the denture cream, or words to that effect, before meeting Garwood.

I noticed the watch in Stone Cold. When you look at that watch for so many years, you get to know it. I also noticed it in Night Passage when Jesse is in the hotel room. Another Magnum-ish moment is in Death in Paradise when Jesse is talking to Carol Ginest about Portia Roberts in high school. I had...

As a real no kidding CSI , I stay away from anything CSI. Too Hollywood. I like Burn Notice (for the escape from reality) and Jesse Stone, whenever it's on.

Here's something that I just realized. I may be real, real slow but Doctor Tessa used to be Doctor No. Another couple of cups of coffee and I'll be dangerous.

I have the Seiko Diver's SKX 175 model that I changed the band on. It comes with a metal band but it has smaller links in it. I saw it at ewatches.com for around $250.00.

That Alpha Diver's looks real good too.

I've got the Seiko Diver's watch for about 200 on the internet. It is real close to TM's Rolex and waterproof to 300 meters. I did have to get another band for it. It is just like the Rolex band but it had Seikos name on it. I usually get diver's watches because they take a beating. They have a thic...

Here's something cool that I did. I searched all over for the Door-ish song played at the beginning. Of course I couldn't find it. Well, I stumbled across the soundtrack to Apocolypse Now. The opening sequence to Apocolypse Now is the Doors. The End is played in full, however it is interupted in the...

I was stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in '83 and I remember a Magnum p.i. look a like contest along with a Lonnie Anderson look a like contest. The winners were given an all expense paid date with each other in Myrtle Beach.

The UDT trunks were a bit short for my taste. I compromised and went with trunks from SPEEDO with about a three or four inch inseam. I neglected to mention my fake Rolex. Did you know that they are not waterproof? They're not. I had a friend of mine pick me one up several years ago. She went to New ...

Magnum near gear or the poor man's Magnum p.i.

I know that there is a Poor Man's James Bond and I know that there is, or could be, a Poor Man's Magnum p.i. For example, I have heard that someone had bought a red Pontiac Fiero because he couldn't afford Ferrari. There are, I'm sure, other examples and I will start with my own "Near Gear'. I can't...
