Just rewatched thank heaven. my goal - a goal I make every summer- is to rewatch the series I normally end up watching all season 1 and then other randoms but here I go again... has anyone here rewatch...

Re: Endeavour

Yep I love Endeavor. Roger Allam is so wonderful. He is the kind of older man that Morse needs --a father figure . I love their dynamic. If you like Endeavour, check out Lewis. I never got into the original Morse ironic isn't it?

Re: Try to Remember (2.15)

One of my favorites= very suspenseful . I like that through hypnosis we learn of Magnum's recurring nightmare- being helpless== and Higgins' wine cellar questioning was hysterical. The cloudy overcast Oahu is so gorgeous! The Inn and the shop are so beautiful. This episode had real location eye cand...

Re: The Welcome Wagon

Welcome Luther's Nephew Dobie! I have been here about 3 weeks and love the site as well. Your humor is lovely! It really seems like a great board - it is my first and people seem so positive and like minded -all avid magnum fans. JJ is amazing IMHO and the rubber chicken puts fodor's and lonely plane...

Re: The Jororo Kill (2.13)

I agree with sign guy . Nuns don't work on Sundays is one of my favorite lines of whole series. It shows how razor sharp and lucky Magnum is. His mind and his training don't take a break even though he may engage in comical banter, his mind doesn't miss a lick! Just like Higgins vast knowledge TM is...

Re: The Welcome Wagon

AS Conch republican said. " "I was just in Key Largo May 30th. 8) LOVE the sunsets from there . .. the Bayside Inn is a cute little place with a cool Tiki place next door, Snooks." Hey Conch: I love Alabama Jack's! It is a classic! I used to drive there 10 years ago every couple of months to kayak n...

Re: Mad Buck Gibson (2.9)

Hey nephew Dobie: All these years I thought your Uncle Luther was saying scruncho- scrungo makes so much more sense! Glad you appreciate my humor :) As a girl in the 80's maybe I was thinking of scrunchie- a hair accessory which I used... I also didn't appreciate the humor of Luther I thought he was...

Re: Mad Buck Gibson (2.9)

Hey Luther's nephew Dobie, Doc and 308: Dobie: I like your view that the man child of Mad Buck could be applied to Tm and Co. because he understands him saying we are not old just not young anymore. And looking at Luther as yourself in 20 years if you don't change your ways is sobering indeed. Altho...

Re: Mad Buck Gibson (2.9)

Ok a 9 for me. I love the series and think like many that there really aren't many shows out there of this quality so even a lame MPI isn't that bad. I don't mind no bad guys, or Mc Gavin's fake hair/beard- he is McGavin - he is pretty awesome especially in Christmas Story... , the ending is OK too ...

Thank you Conch R! I have had a blast in the last few weeks checking out this great website. IT has been such fun. And I love the fact the lads are occupied b/c while I am entering different rooms ("pages") I would always look at the dogs and forget to work the lock......... Hey Conch , when is the ...

Re: Wave Goodbye (2.8)

Wave goodbye: 10 great for characterization and Vietnam Vet portrayal Wings Hauser's memorable performance as Nick is what makes this episode great. Magnum's confession that he served time in psychiatric rehab strengthened my respect for his character-but at the moment blew my mind almost as much as...

Re: Tropical Madness (2.7)

Classic light hearted Magnum- a great contrast to the previous Memories are forever. Although the midget and the sumo wrestler and my dear you look ravishing are two of my favorite scenes - I gave a 9 - wasn't perfect because of TM didn't do it for me as far as TM's behavior and character developmen...

Re: Memories Are Forever (1) (2.5)

I am watching the series in order for the first time. Over the years I know I have seen them all but watching in order has been wonderful so far. Of course I am a different person when it first was released and I saw as a teen, but this episode is perfect. I only saw Casablanca as an adult and was d...
