Re: MPI Lego Version
You know, another possibility is a video game. That would be really cool, and perhaps could even be a catalyst (or a side effect) of a magnum movie or tv movies. Since it's a game, they could use a combination of old footage and reconstruct all the characters in 3d (in a first person sense), includi...

emergency!
Another great 70's show overall, although sometimes the acting didn't seem the best (although sometimes it seemed more realistic it seems too).
Been watching it sometimes on me tv (indep. retro tv network in the states, similar to tvland or cozi, but been around longer than cozi).

anyone remember Harry O ?
I didn't see it listed. I don't think I watched it as a kid, it was later on probably around the late 70's to early 80's in reruns, which is personally how I got introduced to rockford files, wild wild west, maverick and a number of other 60's and 70's show. I seem to remember watching it along with...

Re: No, to new TV show or movie!
If, repeat, IF it was done right it could work and be a helluva hit. I never would have believed the Indiana Jones comeback movie would have worked but Spielberg & Ford pulled it off. Selleck & Bellasario could easily do the same thing. Magnum, Rick, TC, and even Higgins are all still alive & capab...

Re: NO to a movie reboot, Yes to a tv show revival
I could see Higgins doing a scene over the phone talking to Magnum from England after he retired from Robin's Nest. Just to add some closure and set up the premise of the show. This way JH could stay in Texas. Having said that, I agree with JJ that this ship has most likely sailed into the sunset, ...

Re: The Robin Masters Estate (Pahonu)
If given the money, I would offer 10-11. Then I would proceed to renovate, and turn as much of the inside to match the show as possible. I would even consider building a new guest house to match the show in the correct show location, or at least renovating the boat house (because the show at least I...

Re: NO to a movie reboot, Yes to a tv show revival
"Quite".........here-here J.J. ....well said! Sadly, I'd have to agree, although, how old was Elisha Cook Jr. when he was guesting in the show? But alas, I don't think JH would be up for it. Don't know his health situation, but going just on past sentiments expressed by him, I don't think he'd be a...

Re: NO to a movie reboot, Yes to a tv show revival
How about a TV movie, instead? ;) I just can't imagine Magnum P.I., any kind of Magnum P.I., without John Hillerman. Hillerman is 81 and retired, living the good life in Houston, Texas. There is no way he comes back to shoot a television series in Oahu. None. Nada. Zip. The only hope was a movie, a...

NO to a movie reboot, Yes to a tv show revival
After lurking for a bit I just thought I'd offer my 2 cents. And maybe it's already been suggested but I do not think a movie of any kind is a good idea. Look at the quality of movie let alone tv show you get these days. Unless you have someone willing to throw a ton of money behind it you will get ...
